Oppo has just announced that they’re releasing a 12GB version of the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom, so you’ll get the same 60x zoom with better smoothness and efficiency. Having that much RAM better supports multitasking, and app loading times will also be noticeably faster.

The Reno 10x Zoom was already one of the better performers in our testing, so the added RAM should only help that further. As a recap, the Reno 10x Zoom has a 48MP F1.7, 8MP F2.2 and 13MP F3.0 triple camera system on the rear that’s also matched with a 16MP F2.0 camera on the front. It uses a periscope-style telephoto lens on that 13MP camera that gives you the equivalent of 160mm reach. The tri-camera setup is also supported by a dual optical image stabilization so you get better results even when fully zoomed in.
The Reno 10x Zoom 12GB version will also come in a new ‘Ocean Blue’ colour, and this is supposed to reflect the colours of a pristine ocean. The effect utilizes Oppo’s matte blasting technique to give you a seamless finish that’s intense and allows for the nice interplay of colours with the light.
The Reno 10x Zoom 12GB version will be available exclusively in Ocean Blue islandwide at Oppo concept store, M1, Starhub, and Singtel stores, Lazada, Qoo10, and Shopee for S$1,299 from 28 November 2019.
